a birthday bash for our fave red meat connoisseur
To say we went HARD AS A MOTHAF'ER last week at the STK 5th Anniversary Party is a bit of an understatement. Before jumping on the jetway to warmer regions for the weekend, we celebrated at the cobbled-stoned-area popular MEATYpacking restaurant. We only have a few words to say about it--all smiles, beautiful people, amaze food and most importantly open bar. At promptly 7p the line started to form and by 8:30p the entire place was packed. At least when parties start early, you don't feel as bad the next morning. right? right.
STK's Sweet 5-teen birthday party was Studio 54 themed with discoesque Go-Go dancers dancing under the gleaming disco ball, as DJ Cassidy spun our favorite hits of the best decades-Oh Sheila! by Ready for the World, Diana Ross' Upside Down and Marvin Gaye Got To Give it Up. Aside from the four glasses of pinot grio, we all were at an all time high. The celebers included Jessica White, Ryan Phillipe, Nicki Hilton and Russell Simmons, but we fell in love with a couple of new and dynamic people we crossed paths with, including The man behind Saint Germaine Music (visit-https://www.facebook.com/saintgermainmusic) and the beautiful face with great style, that we could not let pass us by in the ladies room - designer Amber Patton (relative of Paula? We are not sure--but very close resemblance), visit http://amberpatton.com/ to see her collection. While guest received Disco makeover in STK's Candy Barr provided by Sephora Meatpacking and Matrix Hair (artistic director Ammon Carver was present and equipped for importante guest to receive the ultimate 70s glam), we snuck away to photobooth to get our pics snapped in 70s garb and finish dancing the night away. Congrats to our Steak friendly hang out on 5 years and a bash to prove a job well done!

THROUGH THE HURRICANE, SOUTH BEACH LAUNCH
Irene couldn's stop us. We said our prayers and tied our shoes twice and hopped on planes to all meet (minus a few key players) in South Beach, FL. Between tequilla shots and once the room stopped spinnning, we were able to keep up with the news and made sure the extended Fam was safe and sound. Then the parteee began... Saturday night, we celebrated a much anticipated birthday of one of our closest allies and the birth of www.socialsscience.com. Once we wrapped up dinner at Prime 112, We gathered on the rooftop of the Ganseevort Miami Beach, cabanas rocked and the ivory Herve Leger was the talk of the night. The stars accessorized night sky was the perfect back drop to our ode to the Good Life! We look forward to seeing a few familiar faces in California this weekend for the LA launch [sumbit information to Meet-Greet, to join guestlist].
